Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies this site uses, what they do, and how to turn them off. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies, local storage for instance, do much the same job. They let a site remember things between visits, such as which theme you chose.
What this site uses
Strictly necessary
Required for the site to work. These cannot be switched off through the site. They include the storage entry that remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode, and any short-lived token used to protect the enquiry form from automated abuse.
Analytics
If and when we enable analytics, it will be to understand which pages are useful and where people lose interest, in aggregate. We will update this page before any analytics cookie is set, and we will not use analytics to identify you individually.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has set, delete them, and block future ones. The controls sit under settings, usually labelled privacy or site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may mean parts of this site stop behaving as expected. The theme preference, for example, will reset on each visit.
Changes
If we add or remove a cookie we will update this page and change the date at the top. If we introduce a category that requires your consent, we will ask for it before setting anything.
Contact
Questions about how we use cookies can be sent to our privacy contact, listed in the Privacy Policy.
